Our Story
По благословению Его Преосвященства Петра, Архиепископа Чикагского и Средне-Американского миссия святых мучениц Веры, Надежды, Любви и их матери Софии была основана на севере-западе Чикаго 5 сентября 2023 года.
In the day of feast of Saints Faith, Hope, Love and Their Mother Sophia, September 30, 2023, Rev. Fr. Antony Alekseyenko serviced the moleleben (prayer) and led the first parish meeting.
Our Vision
God willing, we will be able to acquire a land of 6-8 acres for $200-250k. By cooking lunches the mission has collected over 6k and with all other donations we can allocate around $23k for the down payment and closing fees for the land. Also, the members of the mission have pledged to contribute up to $800 in total for monthly payment for the first several years.
